Questions about audio conferences - live, CD and on-demand:

Why attend a Restructuring Today audio conference?

Restructuring Today's audio conferences are an easy, interactive and cost effective way for your entire team to hear and participate in insightful discussions with thought leaders in our industry.

How do your audio conferences work?

First, call 800-486-8201 (+1-202-298-8201) to register.  Then watch for the dial-in instructions to arrive by email one week before the live event. After you've gathered your team around a speakerphone, dial the number provided, give the live operator the name of the registrant and listen to the panelist's presentations.  A Q&A period will follow when you can ask questions concerning your specific needs.  Instructions will be provided during the audio conference.

Will there be handouts?

In most cases handouts are not provided.  If they are, you will receive the handouts with your dial-in instructions one week before the live event.

Can I patch more than one phone into the call?

No.  Your registration entitles you to ONE telephone connection at ONE physical location. Any transmission, retransmission or republishing of the audio portion of this conference is strictly prohibited.  This prohibition includes patching more than one phone into the call or making the call available to any second location through a conference call.  You can have unlimited attendance in one room with a speakerphone.  Discounts are available for additional locations in your organization.  Call 800-486-8201 (+1-202-298-8201) or write to service@restructuringtoday.com for a discount schedule.

How does the on-demand version work?

Purchasing and listening to Restructuring Today's past audio conferences on demand is easy and convenient.  All you need is an MP3 player, such as Real Player or Windows Media player, to listen to the audio files (if you don't have the software, click the links to download and install them).  Within minutes of submitting your order, you should receive an email confirmation with a link to the audio file and detailed instructions.

Does the CD recording include the Q&A session?

Yes, the CD recording includes the Q&A session.

When will I get my CD?

Audio CDs are shipped within one business day of your order (for upcoming events, CDs are shipped within three business days after the live conference).  Domestic orders are shipped via UPS Ground (5-7 business days in transit).  For international orders we use USPS Priority Mail International (3-10 business days in transit).

How much is your shipping and handling?

Shipping and handling is free unless you opt to get your CD sooner (see below).

How can I get my CD sooner?

We'll be happy to get your CD to you sooner.  All we ask is that you pay the shipping cost - we don't make a cent on it.  To calculate the cost, contact us at 800-486-8201 (+1-202-298-8201) or service@restructuringtoday.com or visit wwwapps.ups.com/calTimeCost?loc=en_US&WT.svl=SubNav and enter District of Columbia, 20007 as the "Ship from" location, your address as the "Ship to" location, .25 as the weight, choose "Detailed Time and Cost" and click "next." Questions about the discussion forums:

What are Restructuring Today's discussion forums?

The discussion forums are provided as a way for subscribers to ask questions, seek opinions, offer advice and in general communicate with other subscribers.

Do I have to subscribe to use the forums?

Yes, you have to subscribe to use the forums.

What are the policies regarding posting my comments?

In order for the discussion forums to work, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • Do lead by example: nothing improves a forum more than posters who reason sharply, write well, and have some perspective about it all. Be one of them.
  • Do not post commercial messages: this means don't use the discussion forums for self promotion.
  • Don't violate poster privacy: don't reveal online private or personal information of another individual. If you are asked for a friend's email address, the best advice usually is to forward the request to the friend. He or she can then decide whether to respond.
  • Do keep it clean: a difference of opinion between subscribers is acceptable but refrain from abusive attacks, engaging in senseless flame wars and using profane language.
  • Do use common sense: if you read a post that sounds too good or strange to be true, it probably is.
  • Do stay on topic: if you are going to reply to a post, make sure you are placing it in the correct area. Use the reply button below the original post.
  • Don't spam: post your message once
  • Don't play games: don't represent yourself as another person, create or use another screen name to avoid a revocation of posting privileges, misrepresent the site or your role in it, and don't misattribute a contribution you've made.

How do I search the forums?

To search the discussion forum, follow this link.
